Jacob
W. Sider
Jacob developed his tough legal skills
in San Francisco through extensive volunteer work
for underrepresented clients. Jacob was awarded
the Public Interest Law Foundation Certificate for
his work at the San Francisco Office of the Public
Defender and the University of San Francisco School
of Law Criminal Law Clinic. As a law student,
Jacob successfully represented clients charged with brandishing
a weapon and check forgery, and also assisted in the representation
of clients charged with offenses such as drug possession and
discharge of a weapon. Jacob interned at the Instituto
Laboral de la Raza, a local nonprofit representing
immigrant workers against employers who have violated
California labor laws.
With the Sommers Law Group, Jacob has successfully represented
clients in a variety of litigation contexts, including:
DUI's, breach of contract, wrongful termination, wage and
hour claims, defamation, trade secret violations, drug possession,
and domestic abuse.
